In most offshore 3D scanning campaigns, we don’t tell our customers what the accuracy should be – we ask them. Unless specifically asked to, we don’t compromise the data collection in any way or decimate the images to create a poor quality result at high-speed. As such we can detail a capture methodology that demonstrably matches or betters your accuracy requirement, with tolerances as low as 50 microns where required for small scale deviation or inspection of visible crack-like indications.
The key to successful and efficient 3D scanning projects is upfront communication and planning – the better we understand your needs, the more effective your campaign will be. Your infrastructure is critical to your business operations, and helping you understand them as accurate pieces of 3D geometry that offer increased technical value is critical to ours.
