A Celebrated Moment: Winning at the GUH Subsea Awards
We were honoured to receive the Cross Sector Diversification Award at the GUH Subsea Awards in February, a testament to our team’s relentless pursuit of excellence across all industries. It was all the more rewarding to be selected ahead of the very impressive companies Crondall Energy and James Fisher Defence.
A Pioneering Achievement: Lloyds Register Accreditation
As 2023 progressed, Viewport3 became the first UK company to receive accreditation from Lloyds Register for Remote Inspection Technology. This accolade underscores our position at the forefront of subsea 3D inspection and demonstrated our claims on the accuracy and density of our 3D datasets.
Diverse Offshore Projects and a Camera’s Italian Holiday
The year was once again filled with a diverse range of offshore projects across a multitude of underwater sectors, showcasing our versatility and expertise. Additionally, our in-house rental camera’s unique journey to Italy added a delightful chapter to our story. Our Italian partners call the Mediterranean a place of work, but we’re not so sure!
Showcasing at P&J Live: Subsea Expo and Offshore Wind Floating Event
The year began with our impactful participation in the Subsea Expo, followed by a prominent presence at the Offshore Wind Floating Event, both held at P&J Live, Aberdeen. These events were not just exhibitions but pivotal moments for us to showcase our innovative solutions, connect with industry leaders, beginning new collaborative journeys and reinforce our commitment to both the oil & gas and renewable energy sectors.
Welcoming Michaela to the Team
June brought a new face to Viewport3 – Michaela joined us as an Admin Assistant. Her energy and expertise have been invaluable, and we are thrilled to have her on board – the store rooms have never looked so organised!
A Royal Engagement: Meeting King Charles III
September brought an extraordinary moment for our team. Directors Chris and Richard were invited by GUH to meet His Majesty King Charles III. It was undoubtedly a memorable experience for them, and we like to think it was a highlight for His Majesty too – we’re hoping to get a mention in the Christmas speech…..
